Joining My Child's Team

If your child is already registered and appearing on their team roster, you can easily link your account to theirs. This ensures you receive team schedules, chat updates, and official notifications.

Before You Start

Ensure you have created your own Rookie Me account.
Ensure your child is already added to your Family Connect group.

Step 1: Access Family Connect

Step 2: Select Your Child

From your family list, tap on the profile of the child who has already joined a team.

Step 3: Select the Team

You will see a list of teams your child is currently associated with. Tap on the Team Name you wish to join as a guardian.

Step 4: Add Yourself as a Guardian

You will see a menu option "Add myself as parent/guardian"

Tap this button to initiate the link.

Troubleshooting

I don't see my child's team: Ensure your child has successfully joined the team first. If they are still "Pending," you will still be able to join as a guardian once they are approved.
I'm not in Family Connect: If your child isn't appearing in your family list, tap "Add Child" you will need to invite your child to your family group within Family Connect.
