Messaging Getting Started

Enabling Messaging for your Team can only be facilitated by a Team Admin / Team Owner.

This functionality can be operationalised via Rookie Me Connect (in-App) or on the web-based management platform - Rookie Me Hub. Please see below for how do do this on your App.

When first entering 'Messages' on Rookie Me Connect, the user is presented with the below screen.

Select the message channels you wish to open (see video > Enabling Channels)

These channels include:

• Players = a messaging group created with ALL players.
• Guardians = a messaging group created with ALL parents/guardians.
• Staff = a messaging group created with ALL staff.
• Everybody = a messaging group created with all people that are part of this entity.
• Groups = user groups with specific members (Creating groups is explained here.)
• Private Messaging = messages between team admin and individuals (and their guardians).

A Team Admin is able to enable and disable the various channels available to you.

Select 'Start Messaging'

You will now be able to select any channel you are a part of to message within.

Note that any messages sent via Rookie Me Hub will also be viewable on Rookie Me Connect.
